10 Keyboard Shortcuts You Should Know

You can increase your efficiency and speed on the keyboard by learning these 10 keyboard shortcuts:

  1. ALT+TAB - switch between programs
  2. ALT+F4 - close the current program and all related windows
  3. CTRL+TAB - switch between windows within the active program
  4. CTRL+F4 - close only the active window
  5. CTRL+C - copy the selected item (this works on files, text, images, almost anything!)
  6. CTRL+X - cut the selected item
  7. CTRL+V - paste the copied or cut item
  8. CTRL+S - save your active document
  9. CTRL+Z - undo your last action
  10. CTRL+Y - repeat your last action or redo your last undo
