Keyboard Shortcuts - How to Copy & Paste

This brief tutorial will teach you how easy it is to use keyboard shortcuts to copy & paste text. Watch as the tutor uses keyboard shortcuts to copy the text in Wordpad to another writing utility built into Windows which is called Notepad. To copy text you use the control-c combination. You hit both keys at the same time. You must highlight the text you want to copy first though. Then you put your cursor where you want to paste the text, and hit the control-v shortcut key combination. Using these keyboard shortcuts you can increase your productivity, and simplify the whole process. This method works the same as right clicking on the text you highlight, and clicking on copy. Then putting your cursor where you want to paste the text, right-clicking there, and clicking on paste.

  • Control-C = Copy

  • Control-V = Paste

Eco-Friendly Web Hosting

Green Web Hosting is becoming a hot commodity because consumers are beginning to demand eco-friendly products more and more. Green web hosting is when your web hosting provider runs completely on environmentally safe electricity. They use only eco-friendly electricity sources like power from wind turbines and solar panels.

One hundred percent renewable energy powered web hosting is the future and is quickly becoming a major factor when consumers decide which web hosting company to use. My suggestion to those companies who haven't yet jumped on the band wagon is it's time to join it. If by going eco-friendly it means you increase your sales by 5% by mentioning your an eco-friendly business then it's worth it. That's the point that we're at right now. Soon I'm sure picking an eco-friendly service will be even a more important part of the decision making process for consumers in the future.

Just because you get something that's eco-friendly doesn't mean it's expensive. At ThinkHost, where they plant a tree for each new client, on top of using eco-friendly energy, they also provide a great deal that includes unlimited bandwidth, disk space, websites, databases, and more for just $7.95 per month. That's a bargain for web hosting and you'll also feel great that your doing your part to protect the environment.
